Capacity & Layout

Q: What is your maximum capacity? A: Our main event space comfortably seats 100 people for a plated dinner or 120 for a buffet/cocktail-style reception. Ceremony capacity is up to 100

Q: Do you have separate spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing? A: [Describe your layout — e.g., garden for cocktails, main hall for dinner & dancing, or one versatile room.]

Q: What is included in the venue rental fee? A: Typical inclusions are the space for the agreed hours, tables/chairs, basic lighting, restrooms, parking, and on-site coordinator support. Catering, bar, florals, photography, and rentals are separate (or available through preferred vendors).

Q: What is your payment and cancellation policy? A: A deposit of £1200.00 secures the date. Remaining balance is due 3 months before the date. Cancellation terms and any force-majeure provisions are outlined in the contract.

Availability & Booking

Q: How far in advance should we book? A: Popular dates (especially Saturdays in peak season) often book 12–18 months ahead. We recommend inquiring as soon as your preferred window is set.

Q: Do you allow weekday or off-season weddings at a different rate? A: Yes. Weekdays and certain months usually have lower rates or more flexible minimums.

Q: Can we hold a date while we decide? A: We can offer a short courtesy hold (typically 7–14 days) while you review the contract.

Logistics & Policy

Q: What are your preferred or exclusive vendors? A: We maintain a preferred list for catering, bar, florals, photography, and entertainment. Outside vendors are sometimes allowed with approval and proof of insurance.

Q: Is outside catering or alcohol permitted? A: We work with licensed preferred caterers only, in some cases allow outside catering but they must be self contained and insurance documents must be submitted beforehand.

Q: What is your weather contingency plan for outdoor spaces? A: We have indoor backup space / tents available / clear weather-decision timeline (usually 24–48 hours prior).

Q: Are there restrictions on décor, candles, confetti, or amplified music? A: Open-flame candles are usually restricted floating candles only. No tapered open candles. Under no circumstance must pampas grass be used on a table with open candles. Confetti must be biodegradable only no foil. We do not allow confetti cannons or powder cannons. We do have a sound limiter restricting the noise levels on the barn area and is set to 95db.

Q: What time does the venue need to be cleared? A: Typical end time is 12:00 and we will request for people to vacate the site, with a short load-out window afterward.

Amenities & Guest Experience

Q: Is parking available? Is it free? A: Yes up to 40 cars can park. If car is left there overnight it must be cleared the next day by 10:00am. If the car isn’t collected by 10:00am it may be locked up until the next working day.

Q: Do you have accessibility features (wheelchair access, elevators, accessible restrooms)? A: yes we have disabled toilets

Q: Are pets or children allowed? A: We welcome well-behaved dogs for photos. We advise that high numbers of children is not advisable for weddings.]

Q: Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, and basic AV? A: Tables and chairs are included. Linens, chargers, specialty lighting.

Lost Property Policy

Q: What happens if a guest leaves something behind after the wedding? A: Any items found on the premises after an event are logged and held securely as lost property. We make reasonable efforts to reunite items with their owners where contact details are available.

Q: How long do you keep lost property? A: We hold lost or unclaimed items for a maximum of 4 weeks from the date they are found. After this period, we are no longer responsible for looking after the items.

Q: What happens to items after the 4-week holding period? A: Once the 4-week period has expired, unclaimed items may be disposed of, donated to charity, or otherwise dealt with at the venue’s discretion. We do not continue to store or look after property beyond this timeframe.
